At the start of my course at the MIX academy (Amsterdam) I wanted to bring the owls and people together. The first idea i came up with was to make an owl mask and go out and take pictures of people wearing the mask. This way i got what I wanted. Afterwards I made drawings and paintings of the pictures I took. Later on in the course I decided to leave the whole owl thing and just focus on painting people.
